What Is Maia Thinking?

Maia Skouris has been dealing with many things an average tween/teenager would deal with at her age. Add to that, the fact that she is one of the 4400. Her tone was rather ominous when she told Diana that Jordan was really a good guy, as he spoke about ruling the city from the steps of City Hall. Will Maia choose a side? Maia’s visions have been instrumental in one way or another in the story, whether by guiding Diana, NTAC, and even Jordan Collier. She misses her real parents, and being a part of a normal family.

Maia made the decision that she wanted to attend the school at The 4400 Center, and she chose to go to Promise City without her mother’s permission on her birthday. She even decided to sneak into Promise City to help Jordan Collier in another episode. Now that the city and the world is reeling from the after-effects of Danny’s ability, we wonder what is in store for Maia. Will she be picking a side, and in effect choosing Jordan’s movement over her own mother? Is this just Maia reaching out to something that seems stable and family-like (a feeling of belonging), or does she have a vision of things to come?
