Laura Allen’s "Dirt" Canceled By FX
Just when we thought Laura Allen’s TV series Dirt was settling in after interruption in Season 2 from the WGA Strike, it’s now been reported that Dirt the series has been canceled per none other than star Courtney Cox Arquette.
Cox was at a celebrity carnival benefiting a pediatric AIDS foundation, when someone asked her about the possibility of a Season 3, and she admitted that FX has canceled the show. Cox has reportedly been doing some projects with her husband, and it sounds like they have their own production company.
That leaves Laura Allen with one less project on her plate. We reported that she and hubby are expecting their first child, and have noted her roles in From Within and The Collective. Sounds like things are pretty busy on her end. For fans of Dirt, I am sorry to see the show go. At least between the two (Cox and Allen), there’ll be some other amazing projects coming up.
