One thing we missed the last time I mentioned this November 2007 appearance of The 4400’s Jacqueline McKenzie were her amazing images. The Inside Film Awards are the People’s Choice Awards for Australian films, and she was one of the brightest stars there.
Here’s a photo of Jacqui with former Olympic athlete Catherine Freeman, an Australian sprinter. Jacqui looks amazing in this color.
More On Jacqui
I was excited to learn that Jacqui has been in an episode of Stupid, Stupid Man, an Australian comedic TV series about 4 men’s adventures working for a fictional men’s magazine, and how they deal with the women who also work there. I’ve seen some video snippets of this show, and think it’s quite funny.
More On The IF Awards
The Inside Film Awards are organized by Inside Film Magazine, which is Australia’s leading film publication. The awards are determined by a national poll, and the event is held each November. For more info, go to ifawards.com. You can actually go and vote for 2008 films right now.

If you’ve ever wondered what Kavan Smith would be like as a bad boy, you have to see this video. He portrays the character Wade Mahaney on Smallville and takes on Clark Kent. In the “initiation” scene, he reminds me of Kiefer Sutherland in The Lost Boys (Mr. say hello to the shadows…). This 9 minute video features scenes from an episode of Season 1, called Kinetic:
This is such a change from seeing him as a good guy like Agent Jed Garrity on The 4400, yet he somehow manages to be so charismatic in each of his roles. He’d be great as a villain in a recurring role. What do you guys think?

Before giving the latest update on “Terminator”, I have a to mention these
photos. Photographers recently had fun following The 4400’s Summer Glau while she was out walking and making a few calls on her cell phone in Beverly Hills. Seeing these pictures of Summer makes me wonder if she’s ever wished she were a real Terminator so she can bust a few cameras. It’s nice to see her enjoying the weather, as we know she’ll be hard at work for Season 2 of “Terminator”.
Kevin Reilly, Fox’s Entertainment President just gave The Hollywood Reporter an interview, in which he confirmed not only that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles will be back, but is a lead candidate as far as their top series for the season. He also noted staffing for the show has already begun, and that it’s expected to finish as the strongest new drama of the season. Bravo!

Just 15 more days before April 29, when we’ll see The 4400’s Joel Gretsch portray Lindsay Boxer’s (Angie Harmon) love interest on Women’s Murder Club. Honestly, I have only seen this show once, but will be tuning in to catch one of my favorite 4400 stars. Word is that he’ll be in all three of the post strike episodes.
The series is based on novels written by author James Patterson (Along Came A Spider), who also serves as an executive producer. The show was almost canceled in February, and previously aired on Friday nights, however it will air on Tuesdays beginning April 29. Sounds like some new confidence has been bestowed upon this one!

We hear all the time that someone has started a petition for something or
other. Some dispute the validity of petitions, unless they’ve seen them with their own eyes.
Save The 4400.net has made available a petition signed by over 26,000 fans of the series. It is available for anyone who wants to print it, and send it to their heart’s content. A great idea is to use it with a letter you send about show.
As a gentle reminder, you can join the fans this Wednesday, April 17 in sending a quick letter to the network.
The actual signature count is over 26,000 and that’s a lot of people!

Just a quick reminder that the episode of The Game with The 4400’s Megalyn Echikunwoke is on tonight! Tia Mowry’s character, Melanie, tries to cut off her feelings for Derwin after seeing him with a certain someone. Here’s a short 9 minute video snippet from The Game, featuring scenes between Melanie and Derwin:

Kaj Eriksen (Danny Farrell of The 4400) has recently updated his official blog, and he always has some interesting updates. I enjoy reading them because I’ve always loved his work as an actor.
In his entry dated March 31, titled It’s Been A While, one particular rant is regarding reality TV. He is not a big fan of reality TV, and shared an experience he and a friend had while out at a restaurant when a film crew (from Gene Simmons Family Jewels?) happened to be in the same restaurant.
The story he tells is definitely a case of him being in the right, in my opinion, and a case of someone being extremely thoughtless. I urge you to read his words on this event. Most of us can certainly relate to not wanting to be filmed while eating dinner.
Kaj Erik brought up some compelling remarks. He says that reality TV is the downfall of our society, and takes away work from real industry professionals (not just actors, but directors and the like). He also says that being a famous person’s son does not make someone “talent”.
Whether you are a fan of reality TV or not, do you agree or disagree with his remarks?
Based on his views, I suspect we won’t be seeing Kaj Erik on any of those celebrity reality shows, and that’s fine by me. :)

On April 17, 2008, fans are uniting again to send letters and seeds, this time, to Jeff Zucker of NBC Universal. For all the details, please go to savethe4400.net.
In honor of this special day, a new video has been created which illustrates exactly how many of the fans have been affected by the untimely cancellation of this series.
We wish the fans much luck, and hope you all join in to help bring back a Season 5 of The 4400.

For fans of CBS’s series Jericho, there is a new glimmer of hope. Some higher powers in TV are thinking of a way to save this show. This time, the higher powers come in the form of a huge cable company, Comcast. Is this a trend, and will it help bring back The 4400?
For the fans of The 4400, it’s been their point all along that there are other outlets for good TV. I don’t know if Jericho will save The 4400, but the fact that someone is doing something for the Jericho fans makes us all feel better.
Jericho fans have been on a long road, with two cancellations, and seemed to finally get good news in January when the Sci-Fi network grabbed the rerun rights for the first two seasons. If the bottom line is that it’s all about the money, and whether any of these canceled but loved shows end up as webisodes, first runs on direct TV, or reruns on iTunes, I hope the fans are still happy in the long run, and they probably will be, as long as they get their show.

Laura Allen looks amazing, and has many different looks. She somehow manages to appear so down to earth in some of her photos (particularly as Lily Tyler), and yet here she looks like a goddess. You can see another image after the jump. Since her stint on The 4400, she’s had a guest appearance on Law And Order: Special Victims Unit, and of course, she is a regular on Dirt, as the character, Julia Mallory. She’s been busy with other projects as well that are set to come out this year. Go Laura!
